Pensions UK has refreshed its policy committees with a series of appointments from pension schemes and service providers.
The trade body has added 21 senior representatives to its policy committees, which decide on the organisation’s agendas for different sectors of the industry.
The appointments are across the defined benefit (DB), master trust, local authority, and defined contribution (DC) committees and come as the terms of several members of each have come to an end.
The new recruits include representatives from pension schemes, law firms, professional trustee companies, employers, insurers, and consultancies.
Zoe Alexander, executive director of policy and advocacy at Pensions UK, said: “Our committees bring together a range of expert practitioners from across our diverse membership. They play a crucial role in ensuring we have a broad perspective when shaping our policy positions on behalf of savers.
