The latest hires, promotions and appointments for the week ending 26 September 2025.
Nausicaa Delfas, chief executive of the Pensions Regulator (TPR), has taken up a non-executive director role on the board of the Centre for Finance, Innovation and Technology (CFIT).
She joins the board alongside former Labour MP Chris Pond, and Vivienne Artz, chief executive of the FTSE Women Leaders Review.
Delfas said: “I am delighted to be joining the board of CFIT at such a pivotal time. Supporting innovation in financial services, including pensions, is essential to improving outcomes for consumers and businesses, driving growth and enhancing the UK’s global competitiveness.

Delfas has led TPR since April 2023, and previously held senior positions at the Financial Conduct Authority.
Fortress bolsters team with USS hire
Private markets specialist Fortress Investment Group has hired Rob Brindley from the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) to strengthen its European team.
Brindley will take up the role of managing director in its European Client Product and Solutions Group, responsible for client relationships and fundraising with pensions and consultants across the UK.
At USS, Brindley was an investment director responsible for origination, execution, and asset management of private credit assets, including managing fund and co-investment relationships. He was previously UK head of strategic asset finance at Commerzbank.
Rob Reynolds, head of European institutional business development at Fortress, said: “Rob’s deep understanding of the UK pension landscape – gained from his experience within the country’s largest private pension scheme – and his expertise in private credit and real estate markets will be invaluable as we expand our relationships with institutional investors across the UK and Europe.”
Investment Association adds new faces to board
The Investment Association, the trade body representing the UK’s asset management industry, has added five new people to its board.
The additions are: Eric Adler, chief executive officer for asset management at Legal & General; Samantha Alexander, UK chief operating officer at DWS Group; Sasha Wiggins, chief executive of private bank and wealth management at Barclays; Joseph Pinto, CEO at M&G Investments; and Mark Versey, CEO at Aviva Investors.
Pinto and Versey have been appointed as deputy chairs of the board.
Stepping down are JPMorgan Asset Management’s Patrick Thomson, Fiera Capital’s Catherine O’Reilly, and Karen Zachary from Lansdowne Partners.
