Van Lanschot Kempen to get new UK leadership
Fiduciary manager Van Lanschot Kempen is on the hunt for a new chief executive for its UK business after it announced that André Keijsers is to transition from CEO to a non-executive director role from 1 September 2025.
The company said Keijsers planned to “pursue a new executive opportunity outside the fiduciary management industry”.
Van Lanschot Kempen has begun the recruitment process for a permanent successor as it seeks to grow its presence in the UK market.
In the meantime, Johan Cras, currently chair of the company’s UK board, will take on chief executive responsibilities until a permanent appointment is made, subject to regulatory approval. Cras has held several senior positions at Van Lanschot Kempen since 2016 and has been chair since 2022.
Erik van Houwelingen, chair of the management board of Van Lanschot Kempen Investment Management, praised Keijsers’ impact on the company, adding: “Our focus remains on maintaining our high levels of client satisfaction and investment performance while continuing to execute our growth strategy. Van Lanschot Kempen is fully committed to growing its UK business.”
André Keijsers has led the UK arm of Van Lanschot Kempen since 2019.
