On the go: Mercer Marsh Benefits has regrouped its UK and benefits teams under the MMB brand. The restructure follows the acquisition of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group by Marsh & McLennan, the parent company.
Explaining the changes, Tony Wood, partner and UK leader, Mercer Marsh Benefits said: “Our clients will benefit from a more integrated, consistent and collaborative approach.”
The firm also made key leadership appointments from Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group, Jelf, Mercer and Thomsons Online Benefits, including that of Chris Bailey as large corporate segment leader, responsible for leading the combined corporate consulting business and strengthening the joint proposition for large clients.
The transaction between Marsh & McLennan Companies and JLT remains subject to the receipt of certain antitrust and financial regulatory approvals.
