On the go: The Pensions Regulator is prosecuting a recruitment agency and its managing director on suspicion of attempting to avoid providing employees with a workplace pension.
SKL Professional Recruitment Agency and managing director Linus (Lee) Kadzere are accused of wilfully failing to comply with their auto-enrolment duties under section 45 and 46 of the Pensions Act 2008.
The Hertfordshire-based specialist recruitment agency and managing director are also accused of falsely claiming that they had enrolled 22 workers into an occupational pension scheme.
SKL and Mr Kadzere have been summonsed to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on September 4 this year.
They will each face three charges of wilfully failing to comply with their auto-enrolment responsibilities and one charge of recklessly or knowingly providing false and misleading information to the pensions watchdog.
