The UK’s biggest corporate defined benefit pension scheme has connected to the pensions dashboards system through its administration technology provider Procentia.

The BT Pension Scheme – the £33bn scheme with 250,000 members – is Procentia’s first client to connect to the dashboards system using its IntelliPen administration platform.
Jill Mackenzie, chair of the BT Pension Scheme, said: “Pensions dashboards have the potential to transform the way people think, feel, and engage with their pensions. We’ve long supported the programme and look forward to the next phase of the rollout.”
It comes as the Pensions Dashboards Programme (PDP) has reported that approximately 75% of pension records in the scope of the dashboards system are now connected.
With less than 12 months to go until the 31 October 2026 statutory deadline for pension providers and schemes to connect to the pensions dashboards ecosystem, the PDP said more than 60 million workplace and personal pension records have now been connected, as well as “tens of millions” of state pension records.
PDP principal Chris Curry said: “Connection of pension providers and schemes is right on course, and we can begin to see the deadline of 31 October 2026 on the horizon.
“It’s a testament to the dedication of everyone involved that we’ve reached this point. I would urge any provider or scheme still to connect that is looking for help to get in touch with the Pensions Dashboards Programme.”
Last month, the Money and Pensions Service – which oversees the PDP – began testing its MoneyHelper Pensions Dashboard on around 300 “non-pensions specialist employees” of pension companies connected to the wider dashboards ecosystem.
