The Pensions Regulator has said the sentencing of former BHS owner Dominic Chappell, who was found guilty of withholding information from the regulator, will take place on February 23.

Chappell's sentencing will take place at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court in north London at 2pm on February 23, according to the regulator.

The sentencing was originally planned for Friday (January 19) at Winchester Crown Court but had been adjourned after a request from the defence.

Chappell is the former owner of failed retail chain BHS, and has been the subject of political and media scrutiny in relation to the company and its underfunded pension scheme.
