Labour party MPs unsurprisingly dominate the committee, which is chaired by Debbie Abrahams.
Following Labour’s victory – in which it took 412 of the 650 available seats – the majority of the new committee members are from the ruling party.
As well as chair Debbie Abrahams, who was appointed in September, the other Labour MPs are Johanna Baxter, Neil Coyle, Damien Egan, Gill German, Amanda Hack and David Pinto-Duschinsky.
Coyle and Pinto-Duschinsky both stood for the chair position but were unsuccessful.
Peter Bedford is the sole representative of the Conservative Party, the official opposition, while Steve Darling and John Milne are Liberal Democrat MPs.
With the exception of Abrahams and Coyle, all committee members are new MPs who were elected to parliament for the first time this year.
Treasury Committee
Meanwhile, the Treasury Committee – chaired by Dame Meg Hillier – includes six Labour MPs, two Conservatives and two Liberal Democrats.
Among the membership are previous chair Dame Harriett Baldwin and John Glen, who held a number of senior posts in the Conservative government including Chief Secretary to the Treasury and City minister.
