The latest hires, promotions and appointments for the week ending 12 September 2025.
The £8bn London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) has appointed Tegs Harding to its board. Harding is a professional trustee and head of sustainability at Independent Governance Group (IGG).
Harding joined Independent Trustee Services, which later became IGG, in 2020 after more than 12 years at Mercer where she was an investment consultant. She also has experience chairing investment committees, including for a large defined contribution master trust.
John Preston, chair of the LPFA, said: “Tegs Harding is a fantastic addition to the LPFA board. Her experience in pension governance, deep actuarial knowledge, and strong commitment to sustainable investing will be invaluable as we navigate the evolving Local Government Pension Scheme landscape.”
Harding added: “I am excited to join the LPFA board. I look forward to collaborating with the team and using my experience to ensure the fund continues to deliver excellent service, strong financial performance, and sustainable outcomes for all beneficiaries.”
Isio’s Menezes to lead PMI as president

New risk transfer chief at IGG
Meanwhile, IGG has appointed Hatty Goodwin as trustee director and head of risk transfer, based in Bristol.
She joins from Aon where she led the consultancy giant’s investment risk settlement team. Goodwin has also previously worked at WTW, Capita, and Broadstone.
Goodwin said: “My focus is supporting pension scheme trustees to achieve the best outcome when moving towards their endgame, improving long-term security for members while creating a safe space for effective and inclusive decision making.”

Hymans names Prince to lead member focus
Hymans Robertson has appointed Donna Prince as head of member experience within its risk transfer and wind-up practice, a newly created role.
Prince will be responsible for developing and delivering member experience solutions for pension schemes going through bulk annuity transactions or winding up.
Prince joined Hymans a year ago as a senior actuarial consultant, after spending 14 years at Aon.
She said: “This is an incredibly exciting area, with member experience becoming a key consideration when selecting an insurer – not only in terms of the administration offering, but the member service and support, the technology, and the ability to price complex options. There is a huge amount of innovation in this area and I look forward to ensuring we continue to prioritise member experience as part of a scheme’s endgame journey.”

Randall to lead LawDeb’s bid processes
Professional trustee and corporate services firm Law Debenture has hired Stephanie Randall as head of bids. She joins from Aon, where she was head of bid and pursuit.
In her new role, Randall will be responsible for new business processes, working with the pensions team in particular.

Scobie joins risk team at Barnett Waddingham
Consultancy group Barnett Waddingham has hired Will Scobie as senior risk and resilience consultant. He joins after 10 years leading Horizonscan, a boutique consultancy specialising in risk and resilience.
In his new role, Barnett Waddingham said Scobie would support the growth of the firm’s resilience and risk services, including strengthening risk management advice provision.
The appointment follows Barnett Waddingham’s recent acquisition of Risk Evolves, which has boosted its capabilities across cybersecurity, data privacy, ESG, compliance, and business continuity.
New global retirement chief at Amundi
Dominic Byrne has taken over as global head of retirement solutions at asset management giant Amundi. He was previously at BlackRock where he was head of investment strategy for the group’s European retirement solutions business.
He worked at BlackRock for more than 18 years, having started his career with American Express Bank in New York.
