The PIPAs recognise excellence among providers of products and services to UK workplace pension schemes. The three key criteria used to adjudicate the awards are performance, innovation and service standards.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the awards, several new categories have been added this year, with some focusing on the contribution companies have made to the pensions industry over the last two decades.

An industry champion, chosen by the judges, will also be announced at the awards ceremony in May. This individual award is for someone who made a special contribution to the industry in the past year, championed the cause of pension schemes and their members, or pushed forward the public discourse.
