The coalition government’s ‘bonfire of the quangos’ could see the Pensions Regulator merging with the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) Ombudsman and the Pensions Ombudsman, leaked documents have revealed

The list of targeted agencies also showed The Pensions Advisory Service is under threat, as reported in The Daily Telegraph and the BBC’s Politics Show.

The Pensions Regulator, PPF and Nest Corporation were all named on a list of 350 protected bodies.
