FSB launches group scheme
The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has launched its own multi-employer scheme to rival Nest.
The trade body is offering its members an opportunity to automatically enrol their staff into the Scottish Widows Group Personal Pension – under the banner the FSB Pension Scheme for Members.
According to the FSB: "It's competitive and has better investment and retirement choices than the government's Nest scheme.
"This exclusive scheme is only available to FSB members and their staff."
Scottish Widows corporate pensions chief Pete Glancy said it was a reaction to the "significant costs" of auto-enrolment to small businesses.
